Amy Coneset - Wellness Center Director / Physical Therapist
I attended Grand Valley State University graduating with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. I have experience in sub acute rehab, outpatient orthopedics, ergonomic work site assessment, home care, and am trained in The Graston Technique. I have special interest in manual therapy and treating those with neurological diagnoses. I am passionate about health and wellness and believe age is not a barrier to achieving your goals.
Timothy Zmudka – Speech Language Pathologist
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2012 followed by my Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Grand Valley State University in 2017. My particular areas of interest include the treatment of communication and swallowing disorders following neurological injuries including strokes and traumatic brain injuries. I am also a committee member of the Michigan Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Health Care Committee.
Carrie Baldwin - Physical Therapist
I attended Miami University in Ohio for a Bachelors of Science in Zoology and then received my Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences in Rochester Minnesota. I have been practicing Physical Therapy since 1997, and have worked at the Grand Traverse Pavilions since 2003. I am certified in Aquatic Physical Therapy, LSVT BIG® for treatment of Parkinson's disease, and also enjoy working with Geriatrics.
Chris Hinze - Doctor of Physical Therapy
I graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Oakland University. I have experience working with patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, back & neck pain, vestibular, and neurologic conditions. I am a certified expert in exercise in te aging adult and enjoy using a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education to help my patients achieve their goals.
Katie Hinze - Doctor of Physical Therapy
I graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Oakland University in 2006. I am certified in HawkGrips, and LSVT BIG® for treatment of Parkinson's disease, and have experience with Temporomandibular Joint Disorder. I especially enjoy delivering manual therapy for diagnosises of neck shoulder, and back pain. I am experienced from pediatrics to geriatrics and love working with patients of all ages.
Erica Nesvig-Paddock - Physical Therapist
I graduated with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 1997 from Saint Scholastica in Duluth Minnesota and have over 20 years experience. I am trained in The Graston Technique, and have special interests in orthopedics, balance dysfuntion, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Ann Parker - Physical Therapist
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachlor's degree in Science. I have over 30 years of clinical experience in a wide variety of settings with extensive orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, neuromuscular rehab and manual therapy. I am APTA Accredited and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor, LSVT BIG® certified for treatment of Parkinson’s Disease. I have been a Tai Chi instructor since 2000.
Kim Rosso – Physical Therapist
I attended University of Michigan for my undergraduate, and received my Master’s degree from University of Miami. I have 17 years of experience at the University of Michigan acute care and rehab. I specialize in cardiopulmonary, general medicine post-op surgeries, oncology, otolaryngology/ surgical maxillary surgeries. I am also knowledgeable in vascular and truma burn. My love is for the geriatric patient population.
Kristen Semeyn - Physical Therapist
I graduated with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University in 2003. I have experience in many settings including; home healthcare, hospital, outpatient, and sub-acute. I enjoy manual therapy, balance training, Kineseotaping, The Graston Technique, and neurological rehabilitation.
Kristi Clark - Physical Therapy Assistant
I am a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and have been working with individuals of all ages for over 20 years. I am certified in Aquatic Physical Therapy, HawGrips, and LSVT BIG®, a treatment approach tailored toward individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. I enjoy treating diverse diagnoses and brainstorming the best approach to helping my clients achieve their goals.
Gerald Rase - Physical Therapy Assistant
I have been practicing as a Physical Therapy Assistant since 1996, after graduating from Delta College with an Associates of Science degree in Physical Therapy. I have clinical experience working in rehab hospital, home healthcare, and outpatient settings. I enjoy working with people assisting them to become as independent as possible and help them to progress toward meeting their goals.
Colleen Tomczak - Physical Therapy Assistant
I have been practicing physical therapy for over 20 years, with an Associate's degree in physical therapy from Mott College in Flint. The majority of my experience has been in the sub-acute setting. My passion is the geriatric population. My hope and goal is to assist my patients to reach their goals of returning to their highest level of function possible.
Stephanie Talaga - Occupational Therapist
I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy, and a minor in Psychology. I am LSVT BIG® certified for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. With over 20 years experience, primarily with adults with physical disabilities, I strive to help my patients achieve greater independence in their daily lives.
Jessica Cobb - Occupational Therapist
I attended Western Michigan University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services in 2007 and my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008. My clinical experience includes the hospital/acute care setting, inpatient rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, outpatient therapy and long term care.
Sara Helsel - Occupational Therapist
I moved to the Traverse City area after receiving my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Saginaw Valley State University in 2011. I am trained in Graston Technique and my clinical experience includes inpatient, outpatient, and sub-acute rehabilitation. I strive to be a great patient advocate and to help individuals live better through the role of occupational therapy.
Ashley Tarras - Occupational Therapist
I attended Michigan State University graduating in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a Specialization in Health Promotion, followed by receiving Masters in Science in Occupational Therapy in 2011 form Western Michigan University. I am certified in the fitting and odering of Saebo dynamic orthoses to maximize upper extremity functioning post stroke, the Aging in Place, and am trained in The Graston Technique. I have special interest in low vision, neurological disorders and home modifications.
Christine Craymer - Occupational Therapy Assistant
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Science in Corporate Fitness and Wellness and then obtained an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from Baker College. I have worked at the Grand Traverse Pavilions since 2007 and love working with adults of all ages, particularly on specific seating and positioning needs and shoulder pain. I am LSVT BIG® certified for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.
Terri Hanson - Personal Trainer
I am an ACE certified trainer and a certified aquatics instructor. I specialize in senior fitness including balance, strength training, and flexibility. I enjoy helping seniors to remian independent and fully functional.
Renee Dowswell - Aquatic Instructor
I am a Certified Aquatic Instructor who was previously a long time Aftercare and Ai Chi participant. I am dedicated to the Grand Traverse Pavilions Wellness Center and believe that there are benefits to being in the warm water that allows for us to do things that we would never be able to do on land. It is my goal to get you fit while having fun!
