Dean Bull to Discuss Bonsai The Art

DEAN BULL TO DISCUSS
BONSAI THE ART

 

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - Dean Bull of Traverse City, a Bonsai artist since 1989 and past president and vice-president of Sakura Bonsai Society of Northern Michigan, will be the featured speaker August 13 at 10 a.m. during the monthly Cottage Coffee series. 

The program will be held in historic Hawthorn Cottage and will feature a discussion on the Japanese art form of Bonsai that uses miniature trees grown in containers.

The Cottage Coffee series is sponsored, in part, by Comfort Keepers. All presentations are free and open to the public. Light beverages and snacks will be served.                                                                                      

Following Bull, Kathleen Brown RPh will present a program on “Medication - What You Should Know”. The program will be held August 13 at Hawthorn.

Grand Traverse Pavilions is the largest county-owned nursing facility in Michigan. The senior community is governed by the Grand Traverse County Department of Human Services Board and owned by Grand Traverse County.
