DEB RYSSO TO DISCUSS ELDER LAW

JULY 22 AT GRAND TRAVERSE PAVILIONS

 

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - Deborah Rysso, a principal attorney with Rysso & Wingfield, PLLC, Traverse City, will present the July 22 program in the Successful Aging Series at Grand Traverse Pavilions. The series is sponsored, in part, by Comfort Keepers.

The 2 p.m presentation will focus on elder law and helping families navigate through legal issues. Open to the public, the discussion will take place in the multi-purpose room. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be served.

Rysso has practiced elder law since moving to Traverse City in 2004 and is a partner at Ryssoi & Wingfield, PLLC. She is active in the Traverse City community and has taught as an adjunct professor at Northwestern Michigan College. She has completed the ICLE Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program. Her law degree is from Thomas Cooley Law School and her undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan. She was named a 2011 Rising Star by the Michigan SuperLawyers.

The Successful Aging Series includes programs by local specialists in aging issues. Following Rysso, Dave Eitland, development director at Grand Traverse Pavilions,  will conduct the next program August 26. He will look at gift planning.

Grand Traverse Pavilions is located on historic Grand Traverse Commons. The award-winning continuum of care is adjacent to Building 50, just off Elmwood Avenue in Traverse City.

The Pavilions provides a continuum of care for more than 300 residents at the senior community. Among the programs and services are independent and assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, health and fitness classes, and dementia services.
