Grand Traverse Pavilions Hires New Community Relations Assistant

Traverse City, MI – January 10, 2016 – Grand Traverse Pavilions (www.gtpavilions.org) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Elizabeth Sonnabend, who has joined the marketing department as a Community Relations Assistant. With this new position, Sonnabend will assist with marketing communications, community outreach and volunteer engagement and coordination.

“I’m looking forward to promoting the Grand Traverse Pavilions and all the great programs they offer,” Sonnabend said. “As a Traverse City native I’ve admired what the Pavilions and its staff have accomplished over the years. I’m looking forward to working with the staff and the volunteers to show the community what a great resource the Pavilions is to the area.”   

Sonnabend comes to the Pavilions with 18 years of marketing experience. Most recently she’s worked as an instructor for Northwestern Michigan College and as a marketing consultant for local businesses. As an advertising major, she received her Bachelor of Science in Business from Ferris State University and her Master of Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University.

“Elizabeth brings a diverse and strong engagement background to the Pavilions”, says Jennifer Hutchinson, Marketing Communications Director. “She represents a community voice committed to caring for individuals and families in our region and to supporting the mission of the Grand Traverse Pavilions.”
