Traverse City, MI – September 1, 2016 – Grand Traverse Pavilions (www.gtpavilions.org) is pleased to announce that Amy Coneset has been named its Wellness Center Director. Ms. Coneset brings 16 years of physical therapy experience, including the last five as a Licensed Physical Therapist at the Pavilions. Amy replaces Gretchen Fraser who retired in June after 17 years of exemplary service.
Ms. Coneset believes in a holistic approach to healthcare and wellness that fits in with the Pavilions continuum of care philosophy. Her focus is on neurological rehabilitation and manual therapy.
Korvyn Hansen, Administrator and CEO of Grand Traverse Pavilions said “Amy has been an integral part of the Pavilions’ team for five years. We are excited that she will now lead our Wellness Center Team during a period of many changes and challenges within the healthcare industry. There is a heightened level of demand for rehabilitation on every level in this community, so we are focused on providing services that help individuals achieve their highest functioning ability.”
Ms. Coneset is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She and her husband moved to Traverse City from southern Michigan and enjoy cycling, running, paddle boarding, kayaking, and hiking. Ms. Coneset participates in the Bayshore Marathon and the M22 Challenge almost every year.
