Hinze Appointed New Physical Therapist at Grand Traverse Pavilions

HINZE APPOINTED NEW PHYSICAL THERAPIST

 AT GRAND TRAVERSE PAVILIONS

 

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - Katie Hinze of Traverse City has joined the staff of Grand Traverse Pavilions as a physical therapist.

 

Hinze has seven years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. She has a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University and a doctorate in physical therapy from Oakland University.

 

Her husband, Chris, is also a physical therapist at Grand Traverse Pavilions. She enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family. The couple has a daughter, Stella, and is expecting their second child in November.

 

Hinze is among a team of 16 therapists and 3 aquatics instructors employed by The Pavilions. The team supports physical, occupational, speech, and aquatic therapy for The Wellness Center and The Rehab Center at the senior community.

 

“We are excited about having Katie join us,” remarked Gretchen Fraser, The Wellness Center director at The Pavilions. “She is a great addition to our team.”

 

Grand Traverse Pavilions is the largest county-owned nursing facility in Michigan. The continuum of care offers a range of multi-aged programs and services, including independent and assisted living, dementia services, adult day care, overnight respite, long-term skilled nursing care,  children’s swimming classes, outpatient therapy, and health and fitness aquatic classes.

 

Situated on historic Grand Traverse Commons, The Pavilions is owned by Grand Traverse County and governed by Grand Traverse County Department of Human Services Board.
