Concert On The Lawn Series

 

TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan – The cherished folk music of Peter, Paul & Mary Remembered will be featured Thursday, July 25, on the Grand Lawn of Grand Traverse Pavilions. This is the first time that the popular group has performed at the Concert On The Lawn Series.

The 7 p.m. concert is free and open to the public. There will be picnic concessions beginning at 6:15 p.m. including grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, beverages, sweets and Moomer’s ice cream.

For a fourth year now, The Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation marketplace will offer raffle tickets (R21429) for a prize of $1,000 cash. The raffle is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. Tickets will sell for $5 each or $20 for 5 tickets (one complimentary ticket).

Jim Hawley, Lawrence “Doc” Probes, Donna Wilson Probes, and David Swan started up Peter, Paul & Mary Remembered in 2010 after becoming aware of their musical chemistry while playing together.
